Why am I recording my 3 pound overnight gain after yet another binge? Not to punish myself or shame myself into getting on track. I need to mark this period of time and learn from it. I am going to turn this around and leave these days behind!
I need to do some soul searching and find out what I to can do to break out of this vicious circle. These endless days of toddler tantrums have turned me into a bundle of nerves.
Exercising is a stress releiver, I need to remember that! I feel SO out of shape, getting started is hard. I exercised only once so far this week, on monday, and I am STILL sore. I think I will finish that book today on compulsive eating and get a post started in the forum, I need support stat!
AAAHH the guilt is weighing heavy on me today. I just wish I could be back to normal!! Food is just food, why is it so irresistable when stress gets overwhelming?

Most people have a vice that they turn to in stressful times. Be thankful that you're not an alcoholic or drug addict. Food is an addiction and it provides serious comfort when life gets overwelming. I can't wait to see your post on binge eating I know I have a serious problem with it. Don't be too hard on yourself!! Today is a new day. I know you are against deprivation diets but... For the time being, until you regain your control, why not get rid of the items you're bingeing on? I'm here for you no matter what!! I believe in you!! You did it before and you'll do it again :)

to get rid of all the binge items I would have to get rid of all the food in the house. Not to mention the Dairy Queen two doors down, the Mcdonalds across the street the sonic on the other side and the Pizza hut within walking distance. If I am going to binge I am going to binge. If all there was in the house was flour and sugar and eggs I would mix it togewther and eat cookie dough. So it's the mental thing I must work on above all else! If I can not control myself around certain foods I will always be living in fear.

I believe in you, too! You have the right attitude... not shaming but learning from your experiences... you have come so far... and a little toddler stress is not going to ruin everything forever.

Wishing you real success as you start along a road to meet your inner self...as Martin Luther said...Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step. Good wishes lotus
