Learned today from my fitness guru that eating within an hour of working out is the optimal time for your body to make the most of your food. Good to know!

Good to know indeed! So, is that hour before or after? I think we mostly hear about eating protein with a few carbs AFTER the workout, right? Is there a benefit to eating just before? Other than not being hungry and working out at the same time, obviously?

i personlly dont like to eat a large amount before hand, makes me sluggish i find. She also mentioneed that what you eat yesterday really impacts your work out today, with regards to energy levels and stored lactic acid ect. Very interesting
