I am officially a gym rat. Or at least so says Four Square, when I checked into the gym today and unlocked the Gym Rat badge. The criteria is I think 10 check-ins in 30 days. I did 10 check-ins in two weeks. I really think the 5 out of 7 thing is right for me. It's too easy for me to put off going if my goal is to only go three times a week. Basically, I need a little wiggle room but not so much that I can totally procrastinate and slack off.

I went shopping this morning for new clothes for work. Apparently I'm a size 20 in Old Navy now. I was a bit surprised at that and then super pleased when I found a bunch of pants on sale and got an extra 25% off by showing my student ID. Went from there to Kohl's - mainly in hunt of some cute shirts (most of the ones at Old Navy seemed too casual for work) and was surprised again when I was able to fit in the actual XL in the Misses department for quite a few shirts. (Nothing with buttons - those were too tight but everything else.) Now, if only I could get back into New York & Company (which was my favorite store when I weighed like 220ish).

Have I mentioned how much I like stores where the sizes don't stop at like 14? Seriously, some of the size 16 plus clothes (particularly in the dreaded woman's dept or specialty stores) are so freaking ugly. Yeah, I get I'm heavy but I really don't want to walk around in a muumuu. Also, I'm 30 - not 60 and really don't want to dress like a grandmother.
