My favourite breakfast.. oatmeal, cooked apple, coconut sugar and cinnamon.. so yum 😋

I grew up not liking the texture difference but will put some apple in my next bowl of oats cos I'm not as fussy as I used to be 😅.

I microwave the diced apple for about a minute and a half and then add it to my porridge. That seems to cook it just enough.. very yummy with the cinnamon and coconut sugar. I only do 2 tsp coconut sugar which is sweet enough with the apple and the porridge is made with half water, half trim milk. And 80 grams of oats! It’s a massive bowl, but keeps me going for hours!

That is a lot of oats so must carry you well! My usual is half cup dry oats, cup of water, banana, blueberries, and peanut butter all nuked for 90 seconds then topped off with cinnamon, chia seeds and half cup of almond milk.

Yours sounds delish as well! 😊 mines around 450 calories.. so actually not bad and yep, it’s a lot 😂
