On an iPhone, you just swipe the item to the left and the ‘delete’ option comes up in red...

I'm also struggling to remove any "Saved meals". If anyone finds a solution, please post and let us know.

I go into the item then there'll be a Delete button. For the whole saved meal, the 3 dots at the top right has the delete function.

@Dentak thanks for the direction.. on my version of the app, I can't see the dots, but if I tap in the title area of the saved meal, to the right of the bar, it allows me to delete... love this app for counting calories, but it is really glitchy in other aspects.

And it's quite annoying when you're scrolling through a meal and inadvertently delete an item. Also, I did find that my FitnessPal had more barcode logs. But I'm here for the peer support!

Still.. not what I'm talking about but thanks I mean when you go to the search bar and search something then after you searched scrolling down to the bottom to add a new food to fat secret. I want to know how to delete THAT new food I've added.

A bit late to the party but anyway. I don't think you can delete it, but you might be able to edit it from the website (not the app). It also depends on whether whoever initially added it, gave "permission" for others to edit it. I once added something incorrectly, and was able to change it, but I don't remember seeing something to remove it. Since the website has more functions than the app, it's worth a shot.
