The sky is overcast, impenetrable. The color and texture of peened tin. The air is cold and still as stone. My back is a little sore today after the tree felling yesterday. Just as well I stay in and stay warm as not to aggravate it. Lost a little over a pound over night. Will continue on the super low carbohydrate prescription for a week, though I was quite hungry and really enervated after the heavy work outside yesterday. Woke after only two hours of sleep last night to go to the bathroom. I have been drink 8 pints of water a day. I have been drinking nothing but water since 11/12/12. Had difficulty returning to sleep which is very unusual for me. Just the monkey brain doing gymnastics.
