The weight you gain from a diet like Rosio or mine will be in the form of glycogen that will give you optimal energy. I don't know how you currently get your fiber(veggies?) but you won't have to worry about that as much, haha. You don't have to go nuts just add some carbs here and there. Keto works because of said deficit. Just keep a deficit and you will never add fat.

Your new journey can be “learning how to eat the right amount of carbs for you” 🤷🏻♀️

Make the changes slowly over time so it's not such a shock to the system. The biggest problem I had in the past was going back to "normal" eating all at once and of course the weight just came back with a vengeance. Patience is the key.

Ty D and Rosio. I’m def wanting more energy and to increase my gym performance. It’s not good enough for me right now. I try to get all of my carbs from veggies—been adding more the past few days to see if it made a diff.

I think the may issue is that because some people because they suddenly "are allowed" to eat some carbs go wilk so if you decide to eat more carbs be mindful of that pitfall. And you can always go back if it does not work for you. Good luck

You can do this. I have done so many plans, but eating good foods and staying in a calorie deficit works best. I never feel deprived and am not afraid of the occasional treat or glass of wine. Moderation is sustainable for a lifetime! 💚

Don't be scared, and just trust the process and give your body the time to adapt to the new diet, whatever it is. Things come slowly

Personal choice here. Went vegetarian about 18 months ago and started exercising 4-5 times per week, most lifting weights. I feel so much better than when I eat meat. I’m concerned about food additives, etc. that non-organic food producers use to alter our food. I’m not 100% there but I am taking positive steps. Just got blood work back yesterday and I am doing super well in all areas indicated through testing.

You could transition to a low carb diet from keto, it would give you more energy for your workouts.

Are you drinking electrolytes?? Especially if your eating keto AND working out...need to replace daily!

Spartacus, I took a Master Gardener course. We had organic and non-organic food analyzed in the lab. The organic produce had a higher presence of unregulated pecticides. The industry is not well controlled, nor has GMO been definitively proven to be a problem. I do avoid additives and GMO. Just wanted to get some facts out. Whatever produce you eat, make sure you wash it thoroughly. I even wash oranges before peeling.
