Late last week I tried switching from Atkins to South Beach Diet because I was afraid I would go "off the deep end" and start binging on fruit, etc. That was a HUGE mistake. Witness my 1.5 lb weight gain. I'm back on Atkins now and am trying OWL with 35-40 carbs, so that I can have some small amount of fruit. Drinking lots of water should help. I hope I'll be back to losing this week.
I guess I have trouble with the "slow and steady wins the race" concept. I'm trying to lose as much as possible by the wedding in October, but if I keep switching, I know I'll only gain instead of lose.
98.2 kg Lost so far: 0 kg.    Still to go: 39.2 kg.    Diet followed: Poorly.
