Went to O-san's house today. I love spending time with the family, but it is always impossible to refuse food there. Hence the (delicious) fried apples and pasta.

Fortunately, going to their house is the social activity that has the least impact on my diet. The last 2 month's worth of weekends with groups have put me over my calories by 1000 or more, with the restaurant food or beer involved.

Maybe there is more merit than I thought to let myself hermit once in a while.
