Went to the gym on my lunch and it felt great. I worked super hard and can't wait to go tomorrow!!!

Isn't that great when you are looking forward to exercise? It is proof that you have "turned the corner." Even better if you can manage it, is to get to the gym very first thing in the morning before breakfast, reason being that your carb stores are at a low from the overnight "fast" and you force your body into fat burn. Works for me. If I need to eat something before gym, I go for a small quantity of nuts or seeds-- filling, nutrient dense, and no carbs. After gym I eat a substantial breakfast with plenty of protein. You might try it if it fits your schedule.
