I'm blowing my diet all to heck today and for some reason I can't stop. Really upset over this.

I think I'm depriving my self of something I need. Not sure if it's calories or something else. SW 263 CW247 GW 210 to have surgery but my intention is to least 180. I pigged out laid down, iced my knee got up and feeling better. Now sitting in the jump seat.(we drive a truck) My calorie intake is 1200 a day some days don't meet that. Two proteins shakes with water, and a protein based meal at night. Carbs staying at 50 grams. So where am I off or was it just a bad day?

if you're aiming for ketosis, with so little calories, the 50grams or so of carbs may be preventing your body from using fat as it's primary fuel... just my first thought

So should I raise or lower the carbs.vShoulf I be counting the total or net carbs.

A lot will depend on your activity level - more active? More calories (and subsequently, more carbs) BUT... your percentage of net-or-total carbs (if following a Keto-friendly WOE) should reflect a set percent or ratio (i.e. 10 percent) of total macros... my opinion

It could just be a bad day. You have to decide what diet you are doing. There is no right or wrong. It is about what you want to do and what you can do. If you are doing keto you should lower carb but you have to strict with keto to get the maximum benefits. If you are counting calories you may want to eat a few more carbs and not keep calories too low.

Most of my day is spent setting on an 18wheeler. Not able to get out here and walk because of my knee. So I use a peddler in the truck on my legs and arms. I'm better today, facing it better not trying to go keto all the way I want to lose on something I can maintain. I guess it was just a bad day and needed to reach out to someone other than my husband. He supports fully but he is 6'6" 238lbs and never had a weight problem. Thanks Everyone. Im sure it won't be the last time I cry on your shoulder.

Tonya...Those of us who struggle with food and weight and working diligently on trying to shed pounds and to be more fit and healthier, and will always...always have set backs. If I go an entire day of set backs, I try really hard to make up for it the next day. Don’t beat yourself up too much as it will push you to give up. I think you’re doing great, especially coming up with an idea on how to exercise when confined to a truck.
