Lotus's Journal, 15 Apr 08

We had to get up early to get our taxes taken care of(we are such procrastinators!!!), so I didn't get to weigh, no time.
That is going to bother me probably.
Dang, I was so hungry this morning! I have already had 500 calories and its only 10:00! That does not bode well..but I am going to try to plan the rest of the day out so I will not have too hard a time staying within my limits. That higher number form yesterday morning is still haunting me, but I don't post a gain until it has stayed on for a week because a fluctuation that small could be anything.
The lesson learned there for me was don't have a high calorie day unless you are going to be extra active, and only following a low calorie day. I will get this figured out! I am trying to ease into a maintanance phase, in which I may lose slower but I can have a somewhat higher daily caloric count, without gaining of course!
I have been having a hard time sleeping on my low calorie days, I think maybe I was just going TOO low.
It should be a nice day today so I would like to go walking at the school track. I need to do more exercise today, yesterday I waited until later afternoon to get myt exercise and I was a little tired by then. Exercising earlier seems to work best fo scale movement too! For some reason exercising in the evening tends to make me hold more water the next morning.
I still fit in my jeans so it can't be too bad, right!?
Well, everyone have a good day, wish me luck staying on track! :)

I have got to ask: what do you eat with 1/2 cup of pumpkin? Soooo curious?!?! lol!!

I mix pumpkin with liquid sweetener, vanilla extract, cinnamon and nutmeg, and either eat it like that, chilled of course, or mix it with vanilla pudding and fat free cool whip, which is my favorie way to eat it, but it is also good mixed with ice cream or hot in oatmeal. I also make a spread with it for toast out of dry pudding mix, spices, vanilla, and reduced fat peanut butter. The pumpkin and peanut butter go beautifully together, and it's much lower in calories than just pb.
