I feel like I've been putting off restarting my weight loss due to skin cancer. Thinking I just wait until after it's removal to start again, due to the down time of 4 weeks after the event. Having a hard time scheduling the removal due to insurance. Seems like everything is up in the air right now. I need to get back on track. If not for my body, but more for my mind. It really helps reading the forums and group posting on this website. I am getting that little push I need to get back in there.

Even if you're not doing it to lose weight yet, getting in the habit of exercising and eating healthily is a good way to start and will hopefully will help you feel better before and maybe even after. And after you're back in action, it'll maybe be easier to get back in the habit if it's only been a month. I wish you the best of luck with everything!

It is hard when it seems like chaos is all around...but perhaps getting back into your healthy habits will make you feel like you can control on aspect of the chaos. Focus on being good to yourself - this means good, healthy food along with exercise. You can do this! You are in my thoughts! :-)

I can understand you feeling discouraged. What a crappy deal, to be delayed in treatment due to insurance. Don't let this defeat you. I think what Roleba said is true, you can't control your schedule for removal, but you can control what you eat and how much you exercise. We're all here holding good thoughts for you. Hang in there.
