Well I have no choice but to lose weight now
Need a knee replacement and can't do it till I lose 60 lbs.

You are where I was 18 months ago. I started out just trying to get to a safe pre-op weight. I know you have a deadline, so I won't say don't rush, but I will say to be kind to yourself but be firm. Sometimes you have to be the strict parent to your own rebellious inner child.
