Okay, so last night was an eating disaster!!! So try, try again...
I am journaling EVERYTHING that I eat! Well, maybe except gum. ;)
It's 3:00 and I am home from work for the weekend. This is my super, duper hard time. My super-d-duper hard time is from 8:00 to 10:00 at night. So...I hope to make it through my toughest stretches of the day.
I had intended to visit my daughter tomorrow, but she texted to say she is home sick. Rats!! I will have the house to myself, and as the weekends alone go, I do very well in the eating department. I pick up, do the laundry and dishes, and then read (! my fave !) to my hearts content. Evenings might be tough, but I pray to plow through them.
One thing that ALWAYS helps me is an old recipe from Weight Watchers. It's a spin on chili, but it's made with V8, kidney beans (or any beans would work), onions, hamburger (which I leave out), and then as the kicker (!), shredded cabbage, like you would use for cole slaw. I love it, my husband loves it, and I always lose weight when I eat it. Go figure.

Chili is a great idea! I was thinking of it earlier today. It helps me lose weight too. Another thought I had was to make those pumpkin muffins out of a spice cake mix and a can of pumpkin. They're not my favorite but they are a sweet snack that is safe and one that I won't keep going back to. I think your goal is very realistic and know that you can do this. Re: buddies - start commenting on other people's sites. You'll be surprised with the response. It took me awhile to get a couple but keep trying. It really helps to share this journey. Stick to it. I know you can do this. Just think "is this bite contributing to my health or my death". Harsh but a reality. Keep up the good work. Love ya back!

Well....I did pretty good yesterday...until about 9:30 pm. Then I hit the ice cream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey!!! Get up and at 'em. Today is 'Take a Short Walk Day'. Whattya think? Even if it's just around the block. I have lots of errands to do this morning but before I go to bed tonight, I WILL take a walk. I am putting a note on my nightstand so I know that I MUST take that walk before I crawl into bed. Wish me luck. Stay healhy in your choices today. You can do this. One day at a time. One pound at a time. Love ya.
