I NEED A BUDDY TO DO THIS WITH, ANYONE INTERESTED?
Hi My name is Shannon. I am 42 and married; I have an 18 year old and a 10 year old at home. I also have 2 step children 28 and 32 and 2 granddaughters 10 & 12 and a new born grandson 1 week old. When I got pregnant with my 10 year old, I weighed 139 (after dieting from 190), Then I took an office job and went all the way up to 229 last September! Been working on losing again since September 10, 2011 to try to get to at least 150. This morning I weighed 177. I've been in a slight slump since the year began and its just been going slow. I NEED A BUDDY TO DO THIS WITH! A friend at work and I done it together for a while, but she didn't have as far to go as I did, so when she met her goal, somehow I've lost my motivation. It helps me to have someone to compete with. We still log our weight on a spreadsheet every week, but it was easier when each of us would try to see who could be the one to lose a certain amount of weight by the end of each week, really helped me to stay focused because, win or lose the mini challenge, it made it fun AND I lost weight regardless. I wouldn't cheat because I didn't want to tell that I had gained. I would like to be at my 150 by Christmas, but would love someone to buddy up and really communicate with on weekly challenges.
