It's been a while since I last posted something to my journal. I almost feel like when I do post or weigh in that I jinx myself (hee hee). Today is a good day so far. I've been a busy little bee the last few days. Lots of projects going on at the house. It's 99 degrees outside today and I can see an end to the outside walks that me and the boyfriend loved so much. I decided to start a greenhouse and we've been building that (hopefully we'll finish today). The heat keeps zapping all of my energy, but I am GOING TO FINISH that blasted little house and hopefully get some yummy tomatoes started! I do think something is wrong with my scale. Each day that I weigh in it says I've lost a pound. At this rate, if I just keep weighing a few times per day I will be at goal in no time! LOL
So, as far as my weight goes, things are looking up (as much as I fear saying that too loud). I am working with my dietitian (who I love) and she is giving me some healthy tips on how to speed up my metabolism and pushing me to get in a little more activity each week as well as slowly teaching me what all those fancy numbers really mean on a nutrition label. It's only been 1.5 weeks actively working together and she's already helped me get that trend line aiming down again. So far so good. Hope all my FS buddies are having a lovely and safe Memorial Day weekend!
