Didn’t weigh in as I didn’t drink enough water yesterday. Gonna fast longer to off set this. Feel pretty good considering. Nephews has been high stress and has had lots of anxiety. Just trying to take it easy so he can take it easy.

I KNEW it would be 'bad news' (and it was), so I almost didn't weight in this morning. But, I knew I was going to be fasting and working out today so I wanted to get a nice drop tomorrow to 'motivate' me :)

I recently found out that what I’ve been struggling with is anxiety. Over the years I’ve learned that if I can redirect it then I can work through it. So say I’m stressed and have anxiety over thanksgiving and can’t calm down, I may think of Walmart then gripe to hubby about all the idiots on Black Friday. 15-20 minutes later in a bit calmer and can function. This also works with my kids somewhat. Perhaps it would work for your nephew if you can find something age appropriate. Hope you can both relax soon! And don’t stress about the weight. Unless you ate the whole turkey and half the sides then it’ll come off quickly.

I totally understand. You’re doing so great! My family has a lot of anxiety. When I can quiet and calm my stress, it helps my boys feel less anxious for sure. Hugs❤️

Peeper...yes we try the redirect all the time. He is essentially having a hard time expressing his lil emotions so he hits and screams. His mother has been around, which I find at times exacerbates his anxiety. Yesterday he wanted to help make coffee (I ALWAYS let him do this)—yes it takes longer and I have to watch him but it makes him happy. His mom got frustrated and did it before he could and we ended up with a Defcom 1 situation. I didn’t save her I let the situation play out becasue she doesn’t believe me when I tell her he’s having behaviors. Most of the time we can use his endless energy for good. At times yikes

Sounds like routines are highly important to him. I’m the same and always have. Hope his melt downs calm down soon.
