What the what?! I hopped on and off the scale to double check. I think perhaps a night of revelry left me somewhat dehydrated? Seriously, my water fluctuations are no joke. While this lovely number will almost certainly have a short lifespan for now, it is always nice when new numbers make their first appearance.

Water follows the salt and salt follows the water. After a salty treat or meal my weight will increase by 2 lbs. If i drink more water, the weight goes away by the next day. Lesson is to avoid big hits of salt.
Then there are the days I am dehydrated because of the weather or alcohol. I will be down 2 lbs; after I rehydrate my weight goes back to previous.
Also, some people lose 2 lbs by going swimming. Thay's just the pool water increasing pressure on the extremeties and forcing all that excess stored water in the tissues into the blood vessels and then you pee it out. Next day the 2 lbs are back.
Tricks played on us by salt and water! But it's fake news.

Hopefully it stays off! I know I’m guilty of having lower #s just because of dehydration. I’m really bad about drinking water. That reminds me. I need to drink 😅
