Strange old day. A lovely bright sunny day. Went to a funeral of a neighbour who was 90 and fit and healthy until very recently. The funeral was lovely and a little sad for her family but she had had a wonderful life. It did make me think again about how health is important. This lady was slim and was still walking up and down the village until a few weeks ago.

Have a few of the girls coming round later so have looked out some healthy snacks like popcorn and salsa. I will aim to have a glass of water between each alcoholic drink. Have walk planned for tomorrow. The training plan has arrived and I think we will be upping the walking to twice weekly very soon.

Success for today - sticking with the soup and one tiny triangle at the funeral tea.
