@peeperjj - This is seasoned pork sausage! I work with a lot of farmers...a lot of them meat producers. This is from a local pig farm. Then just some leftover brown rice and frozen stir fry veggies sautéed in coconut oil. I used a little seasoning salt on the veggies as well. Very delicious and filling!

We live on a farm! Showed pigs, cattle, sheep, rabbits and horses for 10 years in school. There’s nothing better than farm fresh meat! I like knowing what they eat and what meds they are given and when to make sure I’m getting the healthiest meat for my family. Hubby plans on trying some mild sausage using game meat. Elk at first I think and if it comes out well then venison. Not sure where he will get the fat as they are lean animals.

@peeperjj-you sound just like my coworkers! Many of them have been involved with 4h/ffa since they were young and now own their own farms. We are a nationwide distributor of animal health products...so, it only makes sense to have people who know our market inside and out :) I have a wildlife rehab and veterinary background but no agriculture/livestock. But, I work in HR so not necessary. It’s great kowing where your meat comes from!
