Lotus's Journal, 03 Mar 08

Well, it's such slow going right now because it's that time of month, but the scale did go a wee bit down, to my lowest weight so far since being on fatsecret anyway(by 0.2,lol) 131.4. Whoohoo. Well yesterday it was 132.4 so its good to know that was just water. I got some water pills to help with retention and bloating, they work pretty well.
I won't get discouraged at the slow rate of weight loss beacuse water weight gain really throws it off, and it can vary from day to day.At least I am feeling a lot better, I still have a little bit of a cough but I am mostly over it now I think. It ahs been so nice here the last two days, in the upper 60's and lower 70's. I took Kaelyn to the park and walked 2 miles with her Saturday and ran around after her at the park, and I got up at 6 am and walked by myself, 4 miles, Sunday. Unfortunatly the lovely weather won't last; it stormed last night and it is 40 degrees right now, and it is suppossed to get down to 25 and snow later!! I doubt it will really snow, but you never know. This is Texas so snow is rare...but the weather's so crazy who knows.
I'm in pretty good spirits today regardless of the icky weather, I feel like I am getting closer to my goals even though it is not shpwing up as fantastic numbers yet. It feels good to be able to get a good workout and not hack up a lung! Working out makes a big difference. I hope everyone is doing well, I'll check back in a little while, I am going to go work out before Kaelyn boo wakes up.
Chat later! :)

Congrats on reaching that record low - you're doing great! Don't tell Brandon off for missing Mothers' Day - we in the UK celebrate it on a different day to you! We celebrate it on the fourth Sunday of Lent, whereas in the US you celebrate it on the second Sunday in May - so a couple of months' wait for you yet!!
