IF is probably what worked best for me, when I was able to do it consistently. Had to figure out which 8 hours in the day to be my feeding time. For most, they skip breakfast and starting eating around 11am - noon and then can eat at a normal dinner time. For me, I'm hungry when I wake up so I usually start eating before 7am and stop before 3pm. But I had years of working a later shift, not getting home until after dinner time so got really used to not eating much in the evening. But it sounds like you've figured out what works for you!
