I planned to give jogging a try last night, but my lack of self confidence got the better of me...too many skinny people out and about running...I know very lame on my part, but I'm giving it another shot tonight.

How about a nice brisk walk? I started easily and worked my way up to harder exercise. be gentle on yourself, maybe. You want to last the long-term.

a few years ago I lost about 50 lbs, but I was at the gym 2 to 3 times a day...totally burnt myself out, so starting easy (for me at least) is a good idea :) I found this workout plan for beginner runners I'm going to try...pretty much the first week you run for 1 min walk 4(total 20 mins)and every week you start running a little more.

It sounds like a solid plan. Remember, everyone had a first day sometime.
