I cannot stop eating today. I'm hungry... we need to go grocery shopping because the food is limited. Grr - probably gonna eat more calories than normal. Hope I don't break 1500.

Well, for someone who said she can't stop eating, you sure did well with the calories. Hopefully you were able to go shopping and get some fruits and vegetables : ) And don't you love hummus?? I eat that with multi-grain flatout flat bread - 8 grams of fiber (31%) and 9 grams of protein for 100 calories. One of these days I'm going to make pizza with it.

I haven't tried that stuff but I've seen it, it's good huh??! I'm going to have to try it. I found some pita bread I'm about to try right now that's 60 calories, but nowhere near the protein or fiber I'm sure. I just tried to go to sleep early and not eat anymore when I got up around 1400 calories, lol... Sleeping is a good way of not eating, at least in my book! Hope you're enjoying the beginning of your weekend! Talk to ya soon!!

Well crap. Just lost my comments to you. The flatbread is good, but not delicious. It's certainly not offensive, but you definitely need that hummus or something on it. Almond butter is also good on it, nuked with a walnut half or two chopped up on top. Mmm...sliced banana with the almond butter would also be good with the walnuts. (think I'm hungry!) I also use it to roll up scrambled eggs with a bit of shredded cheese and hot sauce. It's good that way. I like it for the protein and the fiber mostly, since I have a hard time getting enough of each in my diet. And I love pita bread! And pita chips!!!! Those are awesome. (yeah...I'm hungry)--------------------------------------------------My weekend is going well so far. Not hiking today, but worked out, doing laundry and floors and crap like that. My husband heard me bitching about the exercise mat I use while working out this morning - it's those interlocking 2' x 2' garage type mats...seen them? They work well for foot, knee and back fatigue, but because they interlock and are on a carpeted floor with a pad over concrete, it ends up sliding all over the place and I spend a lot of time adjusting it. So he got online and ordered me some super-duper kind of exercise "flooring". It's a one-piece, 4' x 6' and weighs 96 lbs! Holy cow. I can't imagine that sucker slipping around, can you? What a sweetie. So it'll be here in a week or two. I'm committed now : ) Anyway, if I can drag my butt out of bed by 4:30 am, we'll go hiking tomorrow. Because it's the "cooler" day in the forecast - only 94 tomorrow instead of the forecast of 97 today! I hope we're back to the truck by noon, drinking a couple of ice cold ones. Even if they are the MGD 64's! But I'm taking some Blue Moon for my husband and well...I may just have to try one of his, you know? Hope your weekend is a good one. Plans for fishing? Or are you guys having some weather issues going on? Take care!
