Okay, so today I'm a total slug. I finally got a straight answer from the insurance company regarding the blood work. I wanted to make sure they'd cover it since it was ordered by a naturapathic physician, not an MD. Got two different answers from two different reps, then husband called and had the answer recorded so no surprises later on. The doc said to make sure it was covered, otherwise I might be handed a bill for $1200! So I had that done this morning. Funny thing was I'd taken my blood pressure and heart rate at home this morning and yesterday and was surprised that my BP was high for me, considering all the damn exercise I do anymore, and also that my heart rate is very low. Like 42 bpm yesterday and 47 today. So I'm sitting in the chair getting my blood drawn and I notice it's coming out really, really slowly. Even the tech said it was really slow. I made the comment that my heart rate was also really slow, like the mid 40's and she said, MID 40's??? Like it was really weird. So I Googled it, of course, and man, I'm really starting to HOPE I have a thyroid problem. That is yet another sign of a thyroid problem. If it's not thyroid, then I think I need to see another doc to check out why my heart rate is so slow. But that's me these days - slow heart rate, slow to let loose of my blood, slow metabolism, slow to get started in the morning... : ) Just slow. So I didn't feel like working out when I got back so I just went shopping all day long. Yeah, I know...what a life : ) But at least it got me off the sofa. I'm just hoping to hit my minimum target burn of 2200 today. As long as I don't just veg on the sofa for the rest of the day I should make it.
