Did again last night, went on a snack attack on those cheese crackers. My kids love goldfish so I can't get rid of them. Those are their absolutely favorite snack. Here the thing, if I am going to eat them they have to be part of my points allowance. I am never going to lose any more weight keeping this up. Oh by the way, Happy Valentine's day. My husband is out of town, so no so happy for me. Hopefully he will be back tomorrow. They are having trouble at work, system is correpted. I work out for 35 minutes of cardio. Again, please pray for my step-mom today she is having her double mastectomy. God is faithful.

How about this for a suggestion: Don't buy the Goldfish in the big box - instead, buy the individual serving packages - I know this is not the most economical, but it might help! Even if you want to have some Goldfish, you can allow yourself one packet, record the points and be done - you're alot less likely to open a second package. Also, try SmartPop popcorn - you get a ton of snacking for the points! Good luck! I wish I was as close to my goal as you are!

I do love the popcorn and often eat the popcorn, but individual serving packages might be just the key if I can't get a grip. Thanks.

I think that's a great idea from QuR. I don't think we get Goldfish in the UK... but they sound similar to our McVities cheesey biscuits which are delicious. I know I've tried to buy some things in smaller packet sizes to try and moderate how much of some things I eat. So just be firm with yourself - point it all and you will be fine. I wonder too... do you write all your food down? I know it's time consuming, but I've found the diet calendar here keeps me accountable - so if you don't already record somewhere, you might find that helps too. Aw, hope your hubby is back again for you for tomorrow and sending some more prayers for Sandy. xx

I think you have the right attitude about it. We all have our must have food, but we just need to keep the portions/points in check. I have also just put the 50 goldfish per serving for 3 points in little snack baggies and leave them out. So if am do want something quick it is there instead of grabbing the whole box. Which is my down fall. It could also be fun to count them out with your kids. Blessing.

I love the snack baggies option. It's almost as economical and much easier to keep to just one serving. I do that to everything I'm likely to go overboard on.
