I want out of the 200s.............I weigh more then my 3 brothers for about 4 yrs now. I am slways on a diet, but how serious am I? The proof is on my scale and on me. It seems as though I have to have a party in my mouth. What the hell is that all about? I am not hungry. Must find out what is behind all the extra eating !! I haven't done that before. Hmmmm
Today is another day and the fruit and vegies are in the fridg. Now to get them in my mouth. lol
I will not put myself down and will give myself encouragement. I need no outside validation.
I also wonder why I am afraid of talking with people? another Hmmm? Could the 2 be tied together somehow.

Hi Mimi - Congratulations! Yes, I said congratulations - according to you profile you have lost 6.8 pounds since you began - that is an accomplishment! I noticed that you are doing your own diet. Have you considered looking into diets? I have done a number of different diets thru the years and finally found FL4I and have been successful - I started out at almost 167 and I am currently at 148.8 - your goal of 170 is very doable! All the "extra eating" - it could be you are bored since you are home based due to your disability. A lot of people eat when they are bored - find a hobby (gardening, painting etc) that keeps your hands busy - it could also be depression you did say you lost a daughter (how sad and I am so sorry for your loss I could not imagine the pain of losing a child). Afraid of talking to people - it could be that you are not happy with yourself and the way you look and are actually afraid of how you think others view you?? Just a thought - Do not put yourself down - set small goals for yourself - I like the diet I am on it only lasts 11 days at a time and I lose weight each time. Not knowing what your disability is I don't know if you can walk distances but walking is great exercise! My MIL lost tons of weight on WW and walking - she has kept it off and looks fantastic (and she is in her 60's). It would also get you out of the house. Wishing you the best of success in your weight loss journey!
