Today is my first day on fat secret.com I'm trying to figure out which diet is best for me. I'm 5'6" and at 215 lbs. I've heard carbs and cheese is bad but i want to make a lifestyle change not just a "quick diet" and cutting these out forever is not an option. I haven't had any bread or pasta the past 2 weeks almost I just started eating more carbs recently and cheese. But I need help with recipes that i will help me lose weight the fastest. Also I work out 3-5 times a week at 30 minutes on an eliptical at the gym but today I did an hour (which amazes me), and I burned 450 calories today. I usually only do 300 though. I have a feeling this is going to be a long and dreadful process.

There really is no such thing as bad food. It's all about eating in moderation and proper portions. You have to be in this for the long haul. Find a good caloric intake for your height, current weight, age, and activity level. Then eat a well balanced diet. There are recipes all over the web. Cooking light is a great magazine with lot's of good options. You can google all kinds of interesting recipes. You are on the right track. It's all about healthy eating and exercise. If you get off track, forgive yourself, move on and get back on track. Good luck!
